25 days | Mom Snacks | 8 weeks Postpartum

It’s Wednesday a cold day here in Michigan but I bundled up the kids picked up our grocery order, paid rent and came back to our little home. It definitely feels like Christmas in here with our tree finally up, and many other bits of holiday cheer I placed around the house. We will be doing different activities, crafts, cookies etc, each day so really bring in the holiday joy.

In all the hustle I had to make sure I got my mom snacks. Having young children, breastfeeding and working it can be hard to eat, but we have to. Telling myself to be In love with my new body, love my milky shirts and enjoy these moments because the time will fly. Seeing the positive on a cold winters day as we enjoy one another company. Telling myself I got this, you got this as we are the leaders of this pack we have created. YOU GOT THIS.

My grocery haul is usually on a Wednesday due to I like Kroger and thats when their new sale starts. I check the paper before hand, This weeks mom snacks are

  • Apples and caramel (I have peanut butter already)
  • Guacamole (I have chips already)
  • More snack packs
  • Yogurt
  • Bananas (also got grapes and strawberries)
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Boobie bar (this is day two I had one yesterday, got them from Target – 17.99 for 6 😳) – taste good to me.

No matter how you started today, know you can finish stronger and better. Pick up a room, do some light yoga, be kind to yourself, eat something you love, cook a healthy dinner; no matter your choice just do it!
