Dumplings for Dinner | Inspired

So I couldn’t think of something to eat, all I knew was I wanted it to be healthy but also light. Then I remember someone I follow on Twitter (@chefjonKung) and he makes amazing jazzed up dumpling recipes.

He loves to play around with flavor using simple frozen or home made dumplings & flavorful sauces and infusions. This one was really easy, I changed it a bit due to I didn’t have Chinese chilly oil, I had Chinese chilly paste. I also added a little fish sauce to mine for extra flavor. All you need is little little bit of each so mine was

  • 1 garlic clove
  • Table spoon or so of chilly oil or paste
  • Table spoon or so of Soy sauce
  • fish sauce just a little (optional)

Another trick he taught me was to cook my dumplings in a wok. He said it so I did it

Chicken dumplings 🥟(frozen)

You only need to cook them for 3-5 min you don’t want to cook the outside to much and the filling you want to get hot. Toss in your sauce and enjoy

When I tell you I though this was gonna be ok, but really it was BOOM in my mouth! Yes I will be doing this again. Thank you Chef Jon Kung! Follow him on Twitter and other social media sites, https://beacons.ai/chefjonkung
