The Haul | Happy inside, Happy outside

It’s Saturday and a beautiful day night I add. Me and the little one went to the fresh produce market near by and let’s just say we went a little crazy but it’s all worth it. The goal is to make rice bowls, fruit with breakfast, 2 veggies at dinner, and protein from beans and seafood mostly.

Zucchini, cantaloupe, strawberry mint and Basil

The local produce market always has plants, herbs, seasonings, honey, snacks and more. So you know I had to pick up a few

  • Strawberry mint : good for digestion, IBS relief, and sore throat. Plus it smells AMAZING. Can’t wait to make tea with this.
  • Zucchini: healthy digestion, improve heart health, high in antioxidants. This will be used for bread, zucchini bake roasting and more
  • Cantaloupe: great for those who can’t drink orange juice like myself because cantaloupe contains your daily dose of vitamin C. Protects damaged cells, high in vitamin A. I’ll just be snacking on this.

Going to the produce market is always fun. And spending under 100$ is always a score when you come home with a little bit of everything,
