Ginger is my food best friend. This root gem is fragrant, has a warming spicy note and packed with gut healing properties that make it great for all diets. Not feeling well, need a boost or need a kick; ginger should be your go to.
I like to peel mine with a spoon, makes things a lot easier. If you are making soup or tea, a nice chunk in the water and bring it to a boil and sit for 20 min or until it become to the strength of your liking.
I also like to slice it into thin pieces and toss into salads, stir fry, meatballs and more. Ginger! Go get some!
