Here is a quick meal great for any night of the week, shrimp and broccoli over ginger rice.
Go ahead and get a pot of water boiling add salt and ginger. Once it boils add your rice and cook until its to your liking.
While the water and rice are doing their thing time to prep the veggies and shrimp.
- Salt / pepper
- Broccoli (frozen is fine)
- Chinese 5 spice
- Soy sauce
- Turkey gravy (packets are fine just add water 😊)
Cut up your veggies and set aside
Prep your broccoli, if your using frozen I found if you steam it first you’ll have less water in your dish and you’ll preserve that slight crunch we all like for our veggies to have.
Peel and devein your shrimp
Season with ginger, salt, pepper, paprika and Chinese 5 spice, set aside
Now let’s cook 👩🍳
Sauté your vegetables first
Once to your liking remove from pan and heat pan back up to medium high and add shrimp. Seer for one min on each side!
Add your veggies back and stir fry for one min. Add your soy sauce
Plate and enjoy
If your feeling spicy you can drizzle the gravy you made on top
