What is mindfulness?
We practice mindfulness to achieve serenity, peace, and success; within us is what we need to be the greatest us.
Sleep though those who are successful are known for saying “I’ll sleep when I die” is important for your mind. If you do not read that muscle it will not function at its best. I’m a late sleeper and early riser, though it works me, I must be mindful of my body and when it’s had enough.
My current goal is bed by 10:30pm and awake by 5:30am. Once my body is rested, I’ll adjust my schedule for my goals to bed by 11:30 and wake by 5:30. I know 6 hours is a little risky but dreams take sacrifice.
- bad moods
- bad choices
- ill thoughts
- sluggishness
- over sleeping when you shouldn’t
- health issues and more
Don’t be afraid to change your schedule to get a few extra hours of sleep. Being well rested can be a game changer and make or break the goals you have set.
If you have trouble sleeping like me try:
- Warm drink like tea before bed
- Yoga
- Meditation
- Calm app
- Lite music
- Counting sheep
- Turning off all distractions (tv, phone, etc)
- Candles
- Baths / showers
- Massage
- Sex (masterbation)
