Rise & Yoga | High Calorie Breakfast |Start Strong Finish Stronger

It’s June 1st, the perfect day to focus on your goals and practice daily routines.

The day starts at 6am, Indian style on my yoga mat in my room. Meditation and prayer bring focus. I follow it with Morning Yoga. There are many rising yoga sequences. The sun salutations is one of the most popular, it’s made up of 12 poses done continuously. Here are few other poses you can tie together and make your own sequence.

  • Chair pose
  • Reverse chair pose
  • Downward dog
  • Low lunge
  • Triangle pose
  • Warrior 3
  • Dancer pose
  • Wide leg forward fold

I then consume a warm glass of water and so my morning skin care routine. Like my previous post stated your morning routine is important.

After cleansing eating is definitely on my mind. One of my goals is to gain weight, eating before 8 am & consuming at least 500 calories is very important.

High calorie breakfast ideas

Women should eat 300 to 400 calories at each meal and then eat two 100-calorie snacks in the late morning and afternoon.

– Men would consume 400 to 500 calories at breakfast, lunch, and dinner and then enjoy two 150-calorie snacks during the day.

My daughter soon wakes and my mommy hat is now on. Cooking for now two has it’s Ups and downs. But I make it happen. Though some foods my daughter is not old enough to consume I try to make our meals as similar as possible so she doesn’t feel left out.

Today an egg sandwich for me, oatmeal for the little one. (Today was one of those days we had something different). On the side apple slices!

I love the weened because it gives me mote time with my family and goals.

Hey I even started my book, remember my healing ritual post. I finally got the confidence and idea. I’m very excited.
